Multi media art
These images are an artistic interpretation of photos combining digital print making with art techniques. If I work from an old black and white photo the image is not meant to look new like those flat looking colored photos. With many sports photos there is so much else in the photo the main subject doesn't show up. If you look at the photo of Bobby Wilder what do you see? Those light areas are distracting so you miss the pointing finger. I left all the distracting elements by subduing them . I lighted Bobby's face and pointing hand so wow they just pop. I isolate the action so you see one grand movement even if it is a solitary one .The other consideration is where is the art going be to viewed up close or from a distance. This art is seen from a great distance. Instead of having a plaque with the names and dates I incorporated a border in the art. The names and dates are in the border. I used the basketball partly inside the art then outside in the border so you get the feeling that the ball is still moving
There is such a variation in the quality of photos along with distracting elements so fees and sizes are based on several factors. Approximate fees and sizes start at $1000 for 8x10 - 24x36 on canvas, email for sizes and fees in between a 40x60 $2000 on canvas.

Bill Bibb. The white areas in the background totally distracted from Coach Bibb . I painted those areas grey and incorporated the backgound with the border.
